James GalehouseAttorney

James R. Galehouse became a member of Amourgis in 2022. Throughout his entire legal profession, which began in 2010, he has primarily focused on Consumer Bankruptcy. Jim has gained extensive experience by successfully handling thousands of bankruptcy cases for individuals in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.

In 2009, Jim graduated from the University of Akron Law School, where he obtained his law degree. Additionally, he furthered his education and obtained a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Akron in 2019. Jim also holds undergraduate degrees in mathematics and economics from Ohio University.

During his leisure time, Jim cherishes moments with his family, immersing himself in books, exploring the outdoors through camping, and bonding over family board game nights.
