Cleveland Clinic Akron General
Cleveland Clinic Akron General, previously known as Akron General Medical Center, is a nationally rated non-profit teaching hospital in Akron, Ohio. The 511-bed hospital is part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System and is affiliated with Northeast Ohio Medical University and the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Cleveland Clinic Akron General has also received a Level I Trauma Center Rating from the American College of Surgeons – one of two regional hospitals rated at Level I – and has a rooftop helipad to facilitate emergency patient transport.
Western Reserve Hospital
Western Reserve Hospital is a physician-owned healthcare facility located in Cuyahoga Falls. Opened initially as Green Cross Hospital in 1943, the facility changed its name to Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in 1978. In 2001, the hospital became a member of Summa Health Systems and adopted its present name in 2009 following a joint venture between Summa and Western Reserve Hospital Partners, a group of several hundred physicians who assumed majority ownership.
Aultman Orrville Hospital
Aultman Orrville Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility that has served Wayne County for seven-plus decades. Originally named Dunlap Memorial in honor of the hospital’s original benefactor, George Dunlap, Aultman Orrville Hospital entered an affiliation with the Aultman Health Foundation to become part of the Aultman Health System.

Aultman Hospital is the flagship campus of the Aultman Health System, Stark County’s largest healthcare provider. It opened its doors in 1892 following a deed of land by the family of manufacturer and banker Cornelius Aultman.

The company, a division of Select Medical, has over 540 medical centers and 140 onsite clinics at employer workplaces. Concentra also provides telemedicine for work injuries and occupational illnesses.
Akron Children’s Hospital
Akron Children’s Hospital is a pediatric acute care hospital serving Northeast Ohio. The hospital cares for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21. The hospital has 78 locations throughout Northeast Ohio, including a 289-bed hospital in downtown Akron and a Level II pediatric trauma center in Boardman.
University Hospitals Portage Medical Center
University Hospitals Portage Medical Center is a 117-bed hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. The hospital serves Portage County and surrounding communities. Founded in 1894 as White Hospital, the facility changed its name to Portage County Hospital in 1917 and took the name Robinson Memorial Hospital from 1932 to 2015. Today, University Hospitals Portage Medical Center has become a part of the University Hospitals of Cleveland.

Summa Health System is one of Ohio’s largest integrated healthcare providers. Founded in 1989 by the merger of Akron City Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital, Summa Health System now has hospitals in Akron and Barberton, a dedicated rehabilitation hospital, 14 medical centers, and five urgent care facilities.
